Explore “pearl island” Phu Quoc

The pristine natural environment of Phu Quoc is renowned for its serenity, atmosphere and pervasive air of discovery.

MUST SEE – MUST DO

Must See
Guests of the resort will enjoy unlimited access to the unspoilt beauty of the northwest. Stroll along deserted white beaches or trek through forest pathways to enjoy scenic vistas across the wild seas. Awaken your senses to Phu Quoc’s warm, clean air and the diverse ecology of a native environment that retains all its untouched charms. As an officially recognised World Biosphere Reserve, this is a window on the wonders of nature that should not be missed.

Must Do
Head up to the traditional fishing village of Rach Vem to observe the daily lives of the local fishermen while wandering the clean white sands of the bay, studded with thousands of bright red starfish drifting just beneath the crystal-clear tide. For those seeking a hands-on cultivation experience, visit Phu Quoc’s pepper farm and sim flower product factories to learn more about the island’s distinctive traditional industries and take home some tasty gifts for family and friends.

WHAT’S NEW

Take a romantic gondola ride along Venice River – also known as the “Lake of Love”—at nearby Grand World Phu Quoc with its globally inspired architecture and postcard-perfect scenery. It is an ideal place for couples and families to catch the sunset and enjoy an atmosphere styled straight from the best of Europe. Also in the vicinity is the casino, golf course, safari, VinWonders park and SEA’s largest aquarium.

TIPS

Whilst guests will enjoy the full modern conveniences of Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay, much of the island remains as it’s always been. Outside the airport or the resort, visitors should always carry cash, as modern payment systems are limited in most locations. While the island sunshine is warm and energising, be sure to apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Wear light clothing and have a poncho ready for showers.

Don’t Go Home Without
Beyond its charming natural landscape, Phu Quoc’s local cuisine never fails to leave a mark on the hearts of its visitors.Be sure not to leave the island without enjoying signature local noodle dishes such as bun quay, bun ken and goi ca trich.
